New Visions Toronto is a non-profit, charitable organization primarily funded by the the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Our children’s home is licensed yearly by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. We also receive a small amount of funding from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care via the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network.*
We have an ongoing need for therapeutic equipment, wheelchair-accessible vans, computers, maintaining our properties and much more. However, funding from the provincial government is not sufficient to cover all our expenses. We play a critical role in the lives of the people we support. We believe that all individuals, regardless of ability, are capable of growth and change. But to make this happen, we need the full support of family, friends, and the community at large.
To make up for the shortfall, donations from individuals and businesses are critical. You can help in the following ways:
As New Visions Toronto is registered as a charitable organization with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), all donations will receive a charitable tax receipt.
A big Thank You! to all of the organizations and individuals who have supported us.
